I've just noticed that it says on my page I've been part of deviantART for 3 years. It's amazing how in that time things change. People come, people go. You make 'friends' (or as close as you can get to friends on the internet) and lose them soon after. You can witness an artist blossom from promising to good to bloody brilliant, or see their inspiration dry up completely. It's very surreal.

I feel a little like a deviant ghost nowadays. I come online, I look at the deviations and journals people are producing, maybe browse a little bit, see how my favourite artists are doing, then leave. I'm not active per sei and I haven't uploaded a deviation for months. Perhaps I could blame this on uni and theatre work leaving me with no time for art - but I'm still drawing. No, the issue really is that I don't feel anything I do now is dA worthy. Sucks, eh?

But, for what it's worth, all the deviations I'm seeing at the moment are amazing. It's so lovely to see people are producing some great stuff
