I've just noticed that it says on my page I've been part of deviantART for 3 years. It's amazing how in that time things change. People come, people go. You make 'friends' (or as close as you can get to friends on the internet) and lose them soon after. You can witness an artist blossom from promising to good to bloody brilliant, or see their inspiration dry up completely. It's very surreal. I feel a little like a deviant ghost nowadays. I come online, I look at the deviations and journals people are producing, maybe browse a little bit, see how my favourite artists are doing, then leave. I'm not active per sei and I haven't uploaded a devia

So, I'm alive. Uni has absorbed my life and art's not been productive of late - perhaps the lack of update in my gallery was a clue? I'm still drawing, still working on photoshop and painter, but nothing I do anymore seems dA worthy. I think I'm raising my expectation too high! I'm a perfectionist though, and if I'm not happy, it's not going on. I'm loving everyone else's work though - seriously, to all the people I watch, well done! You're all producing some phenomenol work that always makes me smile. Going to see Wolverine tomorrow...not hoping for much. I've just seen The Dark Knight I won't give spoilers, but, in my opinion, it is not only the best comic book film ever (sorry Marvel, it wipes the floor with anything you've offered, Spiderman 2 comes closest to a challenge), it's the best film of the year so far, and the best film I've seen in many years. Heath Ledger's performance lives up to the hype and more. I was blown away. Jack Nicholson was good, but Ledger goes deeper - he truly embodies the chaos that is the character.
